Ian & Pondo are the new IWA-MS Tag Team Champs!
A fan picked a fight with Joey Eastman and lost.
Brain Damage wasn't there.
Ian and Sal about killed themselves during a suplex off the top of a ladder, over the top rope and through two tables.
Great show. Biggest Midlo crowd yet!

Here's a little more info, from what I can recall.
Trik Davis d. Ryan Cruz (Trik used the ropes as leverage for the pin!)
Darrin Corbin d. Billy Roc
Chuck Taylor & Ricochet d. Eddie Kingston & Brandon Thomaselli (Ricochet with a crazy 720 looking flip off the top rope onto Kingston)
Toby Klein d. Jigsaw
Black & Brave d. Irish Airborne (who are no longer Crazy J & Lotus)
Chuckie Smooth d. C.J. Otis (w/ a fireball, no less)
Team Underground d. Deranged and (sumguy I'd never seen before)
Arik Cannon d. Stache Abercrombie
Ian & Pondo d. The Iron Saints (Kingston & Brandon got into a scuffle, and the towel got stuck on the top rope. Pondo grabbed it and tossed it into the ring)
There's a Gauntlet match announced for the 4/1 show. Winner gets to go up against Cannon for the title at a later date. I believe the participants will be
1. Tyler Black 2. Marek Brave 3. Trik Davis 4. Ricochet 5. Jake (Irish Airborne) 6. (the other brother from Irish Airborne)
I'm sure someone else will give the full details soon. I live 2 minutes away from the show, but I'm not a regular poster.

That was actually a double moonsault, and it was simply amazing. The whole place erupted once he hit it, man it really is something that HAS to be seen live. If you don't normally go to IWA shows, you HAVE to go, if only to see him pull this off live. It's like he hangs in the air, amazing...

During the Chuck Smooth match this redneck fan sitting front row kept giving him shit. So Chuck kept firing insults his way...one of the better ones included "You couldn't get a girl to come with you so you brought along your boyfriend Cheech instead" (his friend sitting next to him was of foreign descent). Hahaa, it was hilarious.
The one that fired the fan (lets call him Gerold) up was after the match the fan told Chuck to go to a crack house. Chuck said that he would right after he cashed his check, then use what was left over to pay Gerolds Mom. It was soooo funny, anyways Gerold got up and followed Chuck all the way to the locker room. Nothing happened, and Gerold returned to his seat without incident.
Once he sat down, Eastman shot a few comments Gerolds way and he stood up and stuck out his chest. Eastman invited Gerold into the ring so he could kick his ass. Gerold (surprisingly!) got into the ring and Eastman proceeded to kick the crap out of him and manage to land a really stiff one right on his crown. It was awesome. Glen (the smartmark guy) grabbed Gerold out of the ring by his neck and pulled him by one of the fire exits. Security came running over and it looked like poor Gerold was going to start crying. Anyways, Gerold and his friend (Cheech) got kicked out and I would presume banned from all future IWA shows. It was funny, and completely unexpected...one more reason I love IWA.

As usual, some rambling.
Big crowd, as noted. Midlo is getting VERY close to having to order front row in advance (as was the case with Highland). Very good news for IWA.
Start of a Trik heel turn? He is already a heel in the fed that must not be named, so we know he can pull it off.
Kevin Nathanial Merriweather Harvey started a 4th career (following 80s Ref, Ring Announcer, and 6 foot tall man eating chicken) as a Manager. Made overtures to Chuck E SMooth and Darrin "no shame" Corbin. I am willing to give this a shot. IWA needs a heel manager who can talk. If there is one weakness in the IWA roster, its mic work. Some, like Kingston, Ian, and Delirious are awesome on the mic, but guys like Josh, Brandon, Sydal, Trik etc might be able to use a little help.
Ricochet impressed me, Chuck Taylor a little less so. This appeared to be an "initiation" match as the shots were being laid in pretty stiff. The double moonsault, as noted, is a showstopper. VERY little margin for error.
Toby Klein simply impressed the hell out of me. Hit a couple of beautiful moves including a springboard flying elbow. Really enjoyable match.
Chuckie Smooth won a job via defeat of C.J. Otis. Couple of moves here seemed a little off - rough landings and things like that. Actually a problem in the Kingston match as well. Gotta love a well done fireball.
Yes, some wild eyed dude (who I like the call the 'Fist of Rage') hit the ring, apparently to attack Ring Announcer Eastman. Joey applied the "wrestling Zero Tolerance policy" and was rainind down elbows like he was Vitor Belfort in 1998. This is the same dude who got all up in Hero's grill a few shows ago. All I can say is good thing he snapped tonight with Joey and not with Hero, brutality of the potential beating-wise. Funny to note that the ring announcer, play-by-play man (Ben), Smart Mark video guy AND Mickie all got to the ring before security. But the situation was well under control. Incredibly stupid on the fan's part, and funny as hell.
Black & Brave d. Irish Airborne was completely excellent. Less flying than I expected, just a really sound, interesting, engaging match.
Chandler and Priest are now faces, and another match that was stiff as hell. A couple of noses were bleeding by the end of the night.
Im in with the group that prefers Heel Cannon. Good match, but a bit of a foregone conclusion. Cannon is NOT losing the belt this soon.
Barbed wire match was really frightening. And not in a good way for me. Ian is either an Oscar-caliber actor, or he suffered what appeared to be yet another head injury. I'm OK with the blood. I don't LIKE it, but its relatively harmless in the scheme of things. Your body makes more. Your body does NOT make more brain cells. Ever.
Ian, I know you read this board, and I know you take the input here seriously. If you *have* to get in the ring, don't take the headshots. Wrestle Trik. Or Claudio. Or Priest and Chandler. I know all styles come with some risk. But the art of pre wrestling is in making it LOOK like it hurts more than it does. If it actually injures you, something is wrong.
I saw that there is a "fans pick the stipulation" match upcoming with you and Necro. I'm voting for a pillow fight.
Show ended with Kingston kicked out of the Tomasellis Mutual Admiration Society. He is now a man alone. Great, intense end to the show, but that is certainly nothing new for IWA.

I have to agree with skeptic about Ian, I worry a lot about the guy. After the match tonight, he looked so out of it. Just staring off, while Mickie was trying to talk to him. I hope hes alright.
I really enjoyed the show. I enjoyed the tag matches (the Team Underground one didn't have a lot of people into it, but the interactions between Deranged and his partner were entertaining), Jigsaw/Klein, and Cannon/Abercrombie a lot. Toby impressed the hell out of everyone tonight, and had a great match with Jigsaw, and went hold for hold with him the whole match.
Ricochet and Chuck Taylor are great additions to the roster and i'm looking forward to seeing them some more. Ricochet took one hell of a beating tonight, and won the crowd over.
And as some said - 4/1 there is a gauntlet match for a shot at Cannon's title. Its a ladder match, and a TLC match, I guess... with Tyler, Marek, Crazy J, Lotus (okay okay... the Crists), Chuck Taylor, Richocet, and Trik Davis.
To me it looked like Trik didnt realize his foot was on the ropes, but afterwards he was yelling "So what?" at the crowd and stuff to that extent. Heel turn seems to be coming, and i'm looking forward to it.
Chuck Smooth didnt look as impressive as I hoped, maybe its ring rust (I don't know if hes been working for other indies or not), but from what i've seen from him in the past he may of just had an off night.
Vader and Human Tornado are booked for Simply the Best.

Great recaps, thanks!
Anything announced for STB7?
Klein/Jig wasn't a brawl at all? Sounds fun.
Gauntlet TLC match?
Vader at STB! Vader vs. Necro?

Ian said the match was two guys start in the ring, and every two minutes another enters. A shot at the title will be suspended above the ring, but the ladder cant come into play until all the people have entered. It was also billed as a TLC match, so I guess its a Gauntlet Ladder TLC Match.
Nothing announced for STB other then the fact that Vader and Tornado are booked.
Oh, and this year its a 4 man tournament, Tornado is the first entrant.

Trik Davis d. Ryan Cruz: Decent opening match, I'm guessing since I haven't seen Cruz before they put him in first. Dead ringer for Matt Hardy by the way.
Darrin Corbin d. Billy Roc: I love Corbin. Roc didn't impress me besides one stuff enziguiri.
Chuck Taylor & Ricochet d. Eddie Kingston & Brandon Thomaselli: Again, the double moonsault was insane. Kingston worked heel like a master yet again. Interesting how this whole split is going to work, and I hope to see more of Taylor and Ricochet in IWA.
Toby Klein d. Jigsaw: Klein can JUMP? Ridiculous.
Black & Brave d. Irish Airborne: Why aren't they Crazy J and Lotus anymore? Anywho, good match, interesting to see these two teams face. If put in a feud together, could have incredible ladder matches or hardcore matches.
Chuckie Smooth d. C.J. Otis: Smooth looked rusty, but that fireball was perfect. I thought he was gonna throw powder, but he threw a perfect fireball.
Team Underground d. Deranged and (sumguy I'd never seen before): Who was that guy? Anyway, decent match, but possibly the bottom one tonight thanks to the no-name guy screwing up some things.
Arik Cannon d. Stache Abercrombie: The technical match of the evening. Good show for both men. Still no new belt for Cannon.
Ian & Pondo d. The Iron Saints: I got up close for the table spot with Ian and Sal. It was scary. Ian looked completely out of it. Like everyone else here, I love seeing Ian wrestle, but if he's risking major injury like tonight, I don't want to see it. There are other guys in the company that will do that. The match, though, was incredible and far better than the plodding pace of last month's main event. The Kingston spot at the end seemed to be a good way to leave no table unbroken.
4/1 looks to be absolutely incredible. Can't wait for it.
