Quite possibly the biggest show in IWA East Coast history isn't until April 1st, but that doesn't mean you have to wait for the official t-shirt! Get yours now at the new IWA East Coast Store! Sizes small through 4XL are available, and we will have them at the show too.

That's what I was hoping. I hadn't heard anything about there being anything wrong with him. Hopefully he'll get in the ring at some point and kick some ass like only he can.

He might. From what I've been told the plan is to have a recliner at ring side for him to be able to sit back and enjoy the show.
Plus with eleven matches he may get tired of sitting there the whole time.

Gypsy Joe is doing great and still kicking ass at 70+ years old. This is just a way to say thanks to Joe for being an inspiration to many of the hardcore wrestlers. Joe has been wrestling for over 50 years and he deserves a day dedicated to him. 100% of the gate will go to Joe and will be hand delivered to him in the ring at the show! This show is going to be amazing. I know it is on a weekday but for the love of God start making plans to get here April 1st. The card hasnt been announced yet but this show has a line-up of stars that will be talked about for a LONG TIME.

If everything happens as planned this show can at the very least say it has the biggest opening match I've heard of in my life.
There's only maybe two other companies in the world that could pull it off right now, and I don't think one of them would be willing to spend the money.

I wouldn't say the match is that big but it is damn cool. It's not Flair/Steamboat or anything like that but it would be one hell of a match. lol

Any particular reason why the show is a Wednesday night? This isn't the start of a big April Fools joke, is it?

IWA-EC shows are usually in the middle of the week.
although I do find it suspicious that it's on April 1st..

I guess it makes sense if Pondo works elsewhere on weekends. If Wednesday night works well for the Charleston fans, that's great.

Lets get it out, this is NOT A April Fools Joke! IWA EC has always ran shows The Middle of the Week, the only time There has been shows on the Weekend is The Tourney Shows, cuz its easier for people coming in out of State..Another reason is, as most of you know, most Indy Companies run shows on the Weekends, if you run during the week, you have alot less chance of no shows, or guys getting double booked, so therefore its easier to get wrestlers during the week..The Gypsy Show is going to be incredible.I know its hard for you guys to travel during the middle of the Week, but this is 1 show you all should try to make, its going to be stacked, and "All" The Money goes to Joe..

I didn't mean to imply seriously that it was a joke. I was, umm... joking. Just a coincidence that it's on 4/1. I'm sure it will be a great show. I wish I didn't live so far away from both Mid-South and East Coast. Hell, I'd even go to CZW shows if they were within a decent driving distance. I just want to watch more wrestling in person.

Hopefully people have the same reaction to the announcement as we had when we found out. Anyway, anybody interested in the shirt?
