Hi there, I do love IWA, just to clear that up in case this post sounds like a complaint.
But I am trying to collect all the IWA Deathmatch stuff, so King, Queen, Double, Masters of Pain, Crimson Mask and Carnage Cup.
I understand that some didn't start until a certain year, but is there any reason why there was no Queen of the Deathmatch or Double Tag deathmatch Tournaments in 2009?
The other years versions were/are great!

QOTDM was done after the horrendous 08 version. Double Death was so post to happen last October but IWA went out of business for a short while.

I haven't got round to seeing the 08 QOTDM yet, but it can't be that bad. I guess it must be hard finding so many different females to do that sort of thing each year, but good lord are most of them incredibly attractive as a bonus! (Knuckles and Summmerlyn particularly). Thanks for the info, much appreciated

Nah, it was pretty bad. It's worth a watch for the Levy beatdown and the finals were okay, but the rest of it was pretty forgettable. I enjoyed Glasses Jones performance though.

I know this is old, but I finally got through far enough to have watched the Queens 2008 tournament. Yeah it wasn't amazing, but it was alright I thought. I seriously can't believe anyone was stupid enough to take that Levy thing seriously, it was obviously a wrestling story made to look real, the fact that people thought it WAS real just proves how good it was (from a technical stand point at least), plus the fact that it was funny how people complain that wrestling is fake, yet when it's made to look real they STILL complain, what the hell do these people want? On a side note, it was a shame to not see Rachel become Queen of the Deathmatch, not just because I have a high crush on her, but she's great in that sort of environment. Speaking of which, Mickie took her top off, which was an unexpected highlight for me Aw, I don't want to sound like a pervert, I just love 'em that's all!

Yeah, Rachel would'be been a good Queen. Mickie, LuFisto, Rachel would've been a good history. Instead of Rebecca? Payne who hasn't been in IWA since.

I was thinking that too, and this is without irony, who is she? I mean where else has she wrestled or what else has she done? I'd also like to ask the same about BB Walls who appeared in the tournament the year before, I've never heard of her before or sinse. I could also ask the same about Mike Levy to be honest!
Though I do understand that it must be a hell of a lot harder to even find 6-8 women who will work deathmatches (unless you spend your entire budget on Japanese females) than to find 8 or more guys to do the same.

I assume you've actually seen the Queen of the Deathmatch 2008? That would help a lot, basically what happened was a guy called 'Mike Levy' was beaten up at the event by various wrestlers. A TV station reported it as a real attack, as did most internet fans, and it caused a reaction against Ian Rotten. Therefor *my entire quoted post* so, that's it really.
