Because the video library from IWA's glory years has a TON of great matches and shows. Being able to claim that video library as part of their history is a good decision. Smart Mark owns the video library, not IWA-MS. No sir, That's incorrect. Smart Mark does not own the video library.

glad to see i made the list, sad that mine was the only name not capitalized You can blame yourself for that. You're the one who decided how it should be typed! I really hope its Crazy Pipe guy. Nate Webb on every show! We finally get to find out what exactly that yellow chain was used for! Other than M-1 Global and Frito Lays, I'd say Crazy Pipe Guy is my number 1 choice for new owners. M-1 Global is definitely the number one though. Imagine KOTDM 2012. Round 1, taipei deathmatch, Fedor Emelianenko vs. Corperal Robinson!

I was going to be slightly disappointed if I was not on Obo's nutty list. If I am the new owner, I could refund the $65 I am still waiting to get from the TPI that never was! Also Obo, how could you leave Yellow DOg off the list?

The new owners are currently working on the final paperwork outlining the conditions of the sale as well as forming an LLC from which they will operate from. They are currently talking to several other potential investors. So, for those who would like to see this company succeed, please tone down the sarcasm. Please give the new owners a chance. They plan on answering all your questions as soon as all the paperwork is complete and finalized by the lawyers. So you are announcing that IWA is under new ownership and you deleted the board... even though the paperwork isn't yet finalized? And you don't even have all your investors in place? Perhaps you should have waited until everything is set in order to make an announcement and make changes. If the paperwork hasn't been finalized, then the sale has not yet been made, correct?

Obo, I'm insulted you left me off the list, then again I'd be Shotgun Yan's partner so it still counts.
Here's a few other potential owners:
Hollywood Hogan Tom Perry Billy Corgan (sorry if spelling is wrong) Matt Wilson Tom Green (the IN superfan of old school) evil RedBoar from czwfans.com Bruce Willis Old man & boy (forgot their names) IWA-MS rats from IN LOL Dixie Carter Vince McMahon Gabe Sapolsky the man with no name
If it was CM Spunk I'd never watch IWA-MS again, that's worse than Billy Gram IMO.

If the paperwork hasn't been finalized, then the sale has not yet been made, correct? No Todd, That would be incorrect. The conditions of the sale were discussed and written down on a notepad. The inital informal agreement still stands, so yes the sale has been made. They are now being typed and distributed to the new owners. you don't even have all your investors in place? The statement was, "They are currently talking to several OTHER POTENTIAL investors." The primary ownership is set. But, like many companies they are looking at any possible chance to raise capital. Wouldn't you take the time to listen to somebody that wanted to hand you money? Perhaps you should have waited until everything is set in order to make an announcement and make changes.Perhaps your right. Or perhaps the new owners are fans themselves and that they're just a bit excited and wanted to pass the news along. They're not claiming to be perfect. They just don't want to see IWA-MS die.

The new owners of IWA Mid-South could start a new tradition.........
....of not responding to slightly antagonizing message board posts. Maybe just stay above the fray?

The new owners of IWA Mid-South could start a new tradition......... ....of not responding to slightly antagonizing message board posts. Maybe just stay above the fray? scar can't help it, he's always been like that. just stop posting on the IWAMS name and go back to your own dude, you don't have and place in the new company and hardy had any place in the old IWA MS. your close mind and hard head has made you a lot of enemies over the year online and at shows. I think it's time to let it go, you're not part of the new company. just your general tone online and in person at shows makes me think of you as nothing more than a pawnshop owner type. You'll blindly defend your company and yourself ripping people off day in and day out all cause it's part of the BIZ!!! rotten as the same owner, or a new owner, just leave it be man, you're not the spokesperson anymore.

Awesome! I knew it would payoff for me to check back here once in a while just in case.. I have to admit I was starting to feel like the creepy guy driving past his ex girlfriend's house, 'just to see if she was home!' Will miss Ian, but it's understandable. Get a show going ASAP

Obo...you forgot 2 names: the man with no name and Dave Prazak.
When I read the "new ownership" was looking for potential "investors" that made me laugh. How many times were we told IWA has a "new investor" and we were told to expect big things...and, of course, everything fell through.
I sincerely hope the "new ownership" is aware of the past few years of IWA and knows that the fans have every reason to be very skeptical.
