Here it is. Now that we have a few more things finalized. We can now announce the new owners of IWA Mid-South which are Vince Jones, Kevin Adams, and Mike Miller. They have collectively bought the company from Ian Rotten. Even though other investors are still being discussed, these three will be the new primary owners of IWA-MS. The new owners agreed that IWA Mid-South needed to stay “in the family†and not be sold to an outsider only looking to buy just the video library. Most fans know of or have meet these three previously and know that they have been major contributors to IWA-MS over the years. Even though they are just fans themselves, they are part of the IWA Mid-South family and they hope that they can use all the good wrestling knowledge that Ian has provided and avoid all the mistakes that have been made in the past. Hopefully in doing so, IWA-MS can regain the trust from the fans again and that they can possibly return IWA-MS to being a place where fans could go and get to see great wrestling once again.
We will be announcing a show date once we get a signed contract from the building.

I just want everyone to know right off the bat that I’m not claiming to be a wrestling promoter or claim that I have some vast wrestling knowledge. I’m just a fan of IWA Mid-South. I’ve been part of the IWA-MS family for a very long time and I just didn’t want to see the company go away. I really hope that I, Mike and Kevin can help revive the company and bring back good, quality wrestling once again. I know a lot of people dislike Ian Rotten right now. I know that he hasn’t always made the best business decisions. But, I believe that he has been one of the best bookers in the business and I hope the three of us has learned something from that and can use that to benefit IWA-MS. I can already imagine discussions on not only this message board, but on other boards as well all of the people that will be calling BS and calling this a work or know what’s really going on or whatever else they can come up with to bash this. That’s fine; I look forward to seeing all ramblings that will go on. My thought is that while Ian Rotten single handedly created IWA-MS, he also destroyed it. All the hatred out there is over Ian and how he operated. As far as I know there isn’t any hatred towards IWA-MS as a company itself. So, hopefully without Ian we can operate with a little less negativity. With that being said, I hope the IWA-MS family will accept us and help try to restore IWA Mid-South to being a great place to go and have a good time and see some great wrestling once again.
Thanks, Vince

To the loyal fans of IWA Mid-South, we are so very proud to be working together to continue to bring the very best wrestling action that the indy scene has back to the IWA-MS. We can not wait until we have the contract for the building in our hands so that we can announce future plans. We will wait until we have this matter 100% secured in writing to make these announcements. Everyone knows that IWA-MS has had problems in the past with various buildings. This is something we will correct. Many of you know me and many do not. I have been involved in various businesses over the years. I have also been a loyal fan to IWA-MS just as all of you have been. I certainly did not want to see a takeover by some other company that would take the rights to past shows and just destroy what our FAMILY has built up over all these years. We want everyone to understand that we have worked very hard over the past 60 days to make this happen. We have a plan and a mission that we hope will put IWA-MS back on top of the wrestling world. So people hang in there with us. Support IWA-MS and support indy wrestling so that we can continue to put on incredible shows that only IWA-MS can do. Thank you.

From day one, i have always done what i could, to make sure that IWA-MS's shows ran as smooth as i could, and to make sure that the wrestling that took place in that ring was top notch. Whether it was setting up the ring, taking wrestlers ring attire, doing commentary, operating the merchandise table or filling in as a ring announcer, i always did what i could to help. Now i take that idea and thought one step further by becoming an owner of the company i love. Being partners with Mike and Vince make it even that much more exciting, and meaningful to me. Keeping this company in the "family" means something to us, just like we hope it means something to you, the fans. We know we have a long road ahead of us, but every journey starts with one step. This is our first step, we hope you come along for the whole ride.
Thank you

Congrats to all 3 of you and I wish you the best of luck. It's nice to see the company going to true IWA fans and not some big company that wants to destroy the legacy, name, and family. I hope this is another step towards the revival of the company that gave me hope in what wrestling was meant to be.

I'm so relieved by that news. Here I was thinking the company might have been sold to some third party who was only interested in making a discount "Best of CM Punk" dvd, or someone who had no clue what the company was about, and instead it's sold to three guys who know better than anyone what the company is about.
Congratulations guys. Look forward to seeing you in the future.

Not sure if I met Mike or Vince at Royal Weekend of Death 2008, but I did meet Kevin and he's a class act. I'm sure the company is in good hands. :-)
