Hey,
I am a relatively new fan to IWA-MS and was just wondering which DVD's are the best to collect?!
I own every KOTDM dvd, apart from '08? Is this show worth getting?
What other shows would you strongly recommend?

The main collection to go for are indeed the King Of The Deathmatches, I also enjoyed (although others did not) the Queen Of The Deathmatches and Double Death tournaments. Also the Sweet Sixteen/Strong Style Tournaments, Chris Candido Cup was good too, and of course the Ted Petty Invitational Tournaments. There is also a box set called 'Legacy Of Violence' that has a load of deathmatches and infamous moments on it: www.smartmarkvideo.com/IWA-MS-DVD-Legacy-Of-Violence/As for KOTDM 2008, if you liked the others then you can't really go wrong can you I liked it anyway, but then my opinion usually seems to be against most people, so it's up to you of course.

To that list I'd add the Volcano Girls shows. Both have great quality women's matches. If you don't own it Prince of the Death Matches from '10. The Kings of the Crimson Mask shows. A Phenomenal Invasion 2. Edge of Insanity 2006.

Cheers for the recommendations guys; I'll be sure to check them out!
It's kinda hard to keep up to date with whats good and whats not. There doesn't seem to be too many UK fans I can really talk to about IWA. Hopefully, when I'm in the US next year I'll be able to catch a show.

I'm from the U.K. although I'm not sure I am the best person to talk to anyway But yeah agreed with GothThugs picks too! It's wierd how small yet fun the womens division in IWA was in about 2006. Back in the day when you could get a whole tournament out of them, and when Summerlyn was still a Putski, and when there was more of her to love *loves* ;D

Cheers, I'll definitely check out the stuff everyone's been recommending.
Legacy Of Violence looks like my type of thing, I love the whole deathmatch and strong style wrestling scene.

Going completely off topic for a second...any idea if the website is being redesigned? I remember reading that someone was on with it under Ian's ownership, just wondering if this is still on going?

Noted as a future purchase, thanks Although, BB Walls on a Best Of DVD, that's one of the signs of the apocalypse isn't it? p.s. On the off chance Walls ever reads these forums, it's not your fault trust me, I'm blaming whoever booked you without training you first.

If you like strong style, definitely check out S.T.I.F.F. IWA also had a few Strong Style Tourneys...you might want to check them out as well. Also, one of my favorite shows was Simply The Best 5....great all around wrestling plus there is a tables match: Wifebeater vs. Corp...that included an unbreakable table. Definite must see.

Ha god yeah, I remember seeing that match about 3 times on The Wrestling Channel. Damn, it was sad that channel failed, I got into so many different wrestling feds by watching stuff on there.
They would put on an entire PPV each Sunday for free (Supercard Sunday), plus 24 hour wrestling throughout the week!
