I really doubt that, razor wire is just really sharp barbed wire isn't it? So the points themselves are dangerous rather that the wire itself (we're not talking like sharp wire to cut cheese here), opposed to 100% of a fishing line. Razor wire has sharp blades rather than barbs and is much better are slicing people up bad.

The title of this thread is; "Let the fans choose the stips" Not let the fans decide what's dangerous or not. Death matches are dangerous period. Razor Wire will kill you. Fishing line won't. Yes Obo is right, if they come off the scaffold into a fishing line, most likely they will hit the mat, but its still a very cool visual. I have a new name for that type of match. "Davey Jones Circus"

I'm saying for a logics perspective, it more than likely wouldn't work. I mean, in Scotty & Drake's circus death match, with barbed wire, they were having a hard time keeping the barbed wire together and on the third time hitting it, ended up going all the way through that. it'd be a neat visual, but it's not a logical idea. I've got a lot of ideas like that. I had an idea for a spring loaded light tube trap device. I went looking for the pieces for it in Joliet, but couldn't find them. When I discussed the idea with Elkview Adam, he had a perplexed look on his face for a moment, then came to the conclusion it wouldn't work.
Chase and I had a lot of discussions about things we wanted to try, that for one reason or another wouldn't work. Then some of the simpliest stuff that I've built, like the gatoraid bottle wrapped in a hell of a lot of duct tape on a stick, becomes one of the most successful used. Mitch Page beat the ever loving hell out of Freakshow with it.
There's a reason why, in 2011, there isn't a hell of a lot of innovation left in deathmatches, because there's not a whole lot left that can be done and done in a way that doesn't murder someone.

I've still yet to see a lego cage match, I'm just saying.

Ha ha! If that's what I think it is, how the hell would anyone see what's going on? Granted, the "cage" would only stay assembled for about 10 seconds, but that'd be pretty funny.

You could use clear lego bricks I guess, OH or put in windows? You could go all out, and do a lego version of the Kojika house deathmatch (has anyone else seen that?) p.s. this isn't a serious idea, but it is funny, and I would pay to see it
