Straight up. They should have been honest about his involvement. Instead of repeatedly denying it. That's just fucked. C'mon guys...

I don't give a sh*t if it's ian, jesus or satan running iwa. I just enjoy the show in the ring and glad it's back.

Sounds like it was a great tournament despite all the cancellations. Looking forward to picking up the DVD.
However, what's all this talk about Ian being involved again? Did anyone see him at the show? Who said he was still a part of the company?
I think the owners need to comment on this to prevent more damage been done to the product. I would hate to see IWA go down the pan again because of silly rumors.
Anyway, congratulations on what sounds like an amazing come back show! Reviews from those in attendance sound like the whole weekend was one to remember for all the right reasons!

Unfortunately it looks as though it's true : / What does Dys have to gain from lying about Ian's involvement? Hopefully IWA will come out and confront this head on. If Ian has/is involved then surely the fans need to know? I know people will say judge the company based on the product in the ring, but when goings on behind the scenes are affecting the potential talent coming in it's kind of hard to ignore the issue. Hopefully, all this will get cleared up in time for the Anniversary show next month, because from what's been announced it looks set to be a scorcher!

IF Ian is involved in some sort of way, what does it matter? The three at the helm are still the ones handling the business decisions. Give the new IWA-MS a chance before you start tearing it apart piece by piece and bitching, whining and complaining about this and that. Put yourselves in the new owners' shoes. It's not easy to run a wrestling company and I'm positive they're doing the best they can. Just figured I'd throw that out there and whether anyone decides to take me up on that, that's on them, if not, I really don't give a shit. You don't like it, go watch a different company and post on a different set of boards because coming on here and being a bunch of internet tough guys and talking all of the shit that's been talked about IWA-MS as well as Ian, it's really getting stale and worn out.

I don't understand what Ian has to do with Dys not wanting to work with the "replacement" he was booked against. The tournament replacements were the Hooligans, Joey Grunge, and Reed Bentley, I believe. They replaced Nate Webb, Dys, Corp, and Cheuy. So it's one of those four that Dys didn't want to work with. What does that have to do with Ian?

Yeah, Mike made it sound like someone on the outside told Dys that it was Ian, so he bolted. Bellevue is not that big of a place... there's really nowhere to hide if it was set up the way it was last year. If Ian was anywhere near there, SOMEONE would have seen him at some point. No one who was there said anything about it, either.
