Did anyone see the Danny Havoc shoot on the promoter of Deep South? He was ribbing on Mike Burns, who was the booker for Deep South. Burns was taping the interview. It was a joke. My bad, I didnt know that

Kevin asked me to post this message to the fans:
I want to publicly say I'm sorry if I offended anyone with what I said before I took the long break off. I have loved wrestling my entire life, nothing else is funner to me. I have always appreciated the fans that supported IWA deep south as well. If you read the very beginning of my post when I quit I thanked the fans ,and appreciated their support first. I was a little out of line with some things I said. However most of you might not understand how difficult it is to run a wrestling show. I had become extremely stressed out over the past couple of years, and it took a tole on me. Something many people don't know, I have been promoting shows for 6 years. I had been running for 4 years before I changed the name to IWA deep south. So I am not a fly by night promoter, and have been very dedicated for many years. I still stick by my belief that it is very difficult to make money with wrestling, and it is not very popular right now. However there are a few things I have found that can be done since I've had my break. I will have some announcements soon about some things we are working on to insure the continuation of IWA deep south. About MMA, I don't enjoy it near as much as wrestling, just I have saw some people do fairly well with it. My heart will always be in pro-wrestling though, no matter if I make money or not. On a last note again I am sorry. I hope you will all support this company when we run Carnage Cup 2008. It will be a crazy, sick show. No matter how many shows I will be able to run, I will try to give the fans their moneys worth, and not ask for anything in return. Thanks for your time.
Sincerely, Kevin Brannen IWA Deep South owner

Congratulations brother! I am hoping to get to go myself... just depends on the baby situation. That's why I am definitely going to the Royal Weekend of Death, because it's a month before baby.

CARNAGE CUP 2008! Saturday October 4th, 2008 2:00PM Bell Time The Red Barn Bar (Outside) 37200 U.S. Hwy 280 Sylacauga, AL 35150
Tickets: Ringside: $25.00 - General admission: $10.00 buy 3 General Admission get the 4th FREE!!!!!
We have secured a venue for Carnage Cup. It will be an outside show at the Red Barn bar, in Sylacauga Alabama. An outside show gives off a little different feel to a death match tournament. It will be a 16 man one-night tournament. Brackets will be 8 one on one 1st round, 4 one on one semi finals, and a 4 way finals ( a total of 13 death matches). Death match superstars Insane Lane and last year's Carnage Cup winner Freak Show have been contacted and confirmed for the tournament as well as up and coming Alabama wrestler Corey Shaddix. IWA Deep South Offices have also confirmed that long time Alabama hardcore wrestler Prophet will also be there. Also making his return to Deep South is Syko. He was last seen in IWA-DS in Southern Discomfort back in 2006. That's five competitors already! Who will be the remaining 11?
IWA:Deepsouth has confirmed that the 6th entry into the 2008 Carnage Cup will be none other than "The Strong Style Psycho" Tank. Tank the winner of the 2005 CC has had some stubles in recent years, but says hes ready to make a deep run in this years contest. Tank went on to say that not only does he want to win this year, but he wants to prove that the 2005 CC wasnt a fluke. With that being said Tank issued an open challenge to anyone bad enough to take him down. What Deathmatch super star will be Tank's first round opponent? Names like Brain Damage, Necro Butcher, Deranged, Spider Boodrow, And Martry Shiftbower come to mind. We here at IWA:Deepsouth will let you know as soon as it has been made official. Check back to myspace.com/IWADeepsouth for more details.

how does SPIDAR BOODROW get named in the same breath as Necro Butcher, Brain Damage, and Deranged? The ONLY time that it's fitting is "remember that time Deranged almost killed that sloppy yarder Spidar Boodrow?"

I think Smooth was trying to make a joke and it didn't turn out right. Spider is retired and Shiftbower would not be back either.

I find it funny that like 2 or 3 years ago everyone thought Spidar Broodow was the next Necro Butcher, but now everyone wants to dog him and make fun of him. I never liked his matches in the first place, but I love how everyone suddenly thinks he is some yardtard when not long ago all kinds of people were begging IWA to book him.

I laugh at the phrase "everyone thought Spidar Broodow was the next Necro Butcher." I don't know who everyone is, but everyone must be in the minority these days. Because I know myself and several others never had anything close to those expectations for that dude.

I would be really interested in going to this show, but I just have the aching suspicion it's going to get canceled.
