The tension between Vito and Sal Thomaselli has reached it's peak. It's even creeped into the ElitePro Dojo training center as Vito and Sal have been unable to co-exist as trainers and have forced the students to choose which Thomaselli brother they wish to train with.
The ElitePro Video Crew will be meeting up with Sal Thomaselli later this week to get his reaction to Vito's announcement that they will have a 30-minute Iron Man Match on January 31 at "Season Premiere" in Oak Forest.

The entire crew from Elite Pro Wrestling would like to congratulate The Soul Touchaz of Acid Jaz & Marshe Rockett and their manager C-Red for being the second straight ElitePro Tag Team Champions to compete in and win the IWA Midsouth Chris Candido Memorial Tournament.
Unfortunately, the victory came at a steep price. Acid Jaz suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle, two injuries that did not stop him from getting the deciding pinfall in the finals, showing the guts he has.
What this means for "Season Premiere" is unclear. ElitePro officials have told EliteProWrestling.com that they do not expect Acid Jaz to be ready to compete on January 31 in Oak Forest. Though, the possibility has not been ruled out if Jaz feels he will be 100% healthy. Should he be unable to compete, C-Red has already assured officials that he will have a replacement to compete against The Real McCoy's. C-Red has his nephew Thomas Walton III, CHIKARA high-flyer Helios and the recently returned Willie "Da Bomb" Richardson all under contract, so he will not be short on options.
That said, the ElitePro Video Crew put together another great hype video for the non-title bout. Please note that this was made prior to Acid Jaz's injury.

The EliteProWrestling.com staff were wrapping up their work for the evening when a mysterious email was sent to EliteProWrestling@hotmail.com. In the email was a video featuring the notorious group known as Team Taliban talking about Mustafa Ali's ElitePro World TV Title Match scheduled for January 31, 2009 in Oak Forest at "Season Premiere".
The following opinions expressed are NOT those of Elite Pro Wrestling. It seems that Team Taliban, much like Joey Eastman World Wide, have hired their own video crews to allow them to spread their propaganda.
EliteProWrestling.com hopes to get a reaction from Martin Jones in the coming week.

The ElitePro Office sent word to EliteProWrestling.com that a new talent will be making his debut at "Season Premiere". On a scouting trip to Insanity Pro Wrestling in Indianapolis, the ElitePro officials saw a wrestler that they feel would be a significant addition to the roster. This wrestler is a talented young man by the name of Jon Moxley.
Moxley has made a name for himself in promotions like IPW and Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA) in Ohio. He recently participated in the IWA Midsouth Revolution Strong Style Tournament and has participated in the CHIKARA Young Lions Cup Tournament in the past.
Though there isn't much video footage on the internet to give fans an idea of Moxley's ability in the ring, here is an interview recently done by IPW after a match with Drake Younger that shows how intense a competitor he is. ElitePro officials feel that Moxley could make a big impact in 2009.

EliteProWrestling.com was informed that Corporal Robinson will be unable to defend his ElitePro Heavyweight Title at Season Premiere.
Corporal Robinson informed ElitePro officials that he has been cast in the "Big Money Russlers", a feature film produced by the Insane Clown Posse, in Los Angeles and taping is going on at the end of January.
However, not one to leave the ElitePro fans or Joey Eastman hanging, Corp has called in a favor to a friend to take his place and test out whomever Joey Eastman has waiting for him at "Season Premiere". That man is CZW Heavyweight Champion, 2008 Ted Petty Invitational winner and 2007 Tournament of Death winner Drake Younger.

In front of the biggest and loudest crowd in Oak Forest history, Elite Pro Wrestling Presented "Season Premiere"
1) The American Nightmare w/The Message & Mustafa Ali defeated Ninja Bill
2) Make Your Mark Match: Franky Arion and William King went to a no-contest when Joey Eastman interrupted the match.
Joey began to cut down Corporal Robinson and explained that he wasn't going to "waste" his surprise for Corp on someone like Drake Younger. Joey asked for the lights to be shut off, when they came back on a 6-foot-6, 400-pound monster stood in the ring and proceeded to destroy Arion and King and finished them off with a top-rope splash on both men. Eastman forced the the referee to make a three count and then introduced the newest member of Joey Eastman World Wide - "The Juggernaut" Osyris!
3) Scott Reed w/Joey Eastman defeated "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger after Eastman distracted the referee and threw powder in Drake's eyes as he was attempting to hit The Drake's Landing on Reed.
Before the match, Eastman announced that Scott Reed, a 2008 Super 8 Competitor and top prospect in the Northeast, was his latest signing to J.E.W.W.
4) Non-Title Match: The Soul Touchaz (Willie Richardson & Marshe Rockett) w/C-Red & Dymond defeated The Real McCoy's
5) The Ring Ryda defeated Dysfunction w/Kimberly Kash with a victory roll when Dysfunction was going for the Rubix Cube. Dysfunction had the match won, but Kimberly Kash demanded he go for another big move after The Ring Ryda had kicked out before.
6) ElitePro World TV Title Match: Mustafa Ali and Martin Jones went to a 15-minute draw. Ali retains the title.
7) No. 1 Contender Elimination Tag Team Match: The Jensen Bros. defeated Brandon Thomaselli & Jason Hades in the final fall to become the No. 1 Contenders for the ElitePro Tag Team Titles.
Kash Inc. was eliminated first by Team W.A.R. when Acid & Synn hit a suplex-neckbreaker combo on John E. Kash.
Team W.A.R. was eliminated next when Jason Hades caught Acid with a rollup.
In the final fall, Hades had Mark Jensen in position for The Killswitch, but with the referee tending to an injured Brandon Thomaselli on the outside, Jay Jensen was able to pull a pair of brass knucks out of his knee pad and blast Hades, allowing Mark to get the pinfall.
8) Jon Moxley defeated Brett Michaels with a chickenwing face buster. (You can view this match RIGHT NOW by visiting http://www.eliteprowrestling.com)
9) Sal Thomaselli defeated Vito Thomaselli w/Joey Eastman, 6-5, in a 30-minute Iron Man Match.
After the match, Eastman berated Vito for losing to Sal and stormed off after calling him a "failure". Vito then gave an impassioned speech about his relationship with his brother. It looked like the two brothers had officially put their differences aside. As they left ringside, Vito attacked Sal and with the help of Eastman put the boots to his brother. They called out Osyris, who crushed Sal with a huge spear as the show ended.
ElitePro returns to the Oak Forest Park District on Saturday, Feb. 28. Matches already signed include:
ElitePro World TV Title Match: Mustafa Ali w/The Message vs. "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush
ElitePro Tag Team Title Match: The Soul Touchaz w/C-Red vs. The Jensen Bros.
