Seems a little odd that they would be running in the same state as the Mid-South, but I guess it's Ians call whether to let them join the family. I look forward to seeing what they can do.

Same state but still about a 3 1/2 hour drive from bellevue, and with Chicago and Salem, IL about 4 1/2 hour drive from eachother. Simply put as far as regulars go there isn't likely to be any overlap of fan base. At any rate i wish them good luck and hope to catch a show if I'm ever down that way.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome. I will wear the letters IWA with great pride and honor. I decided to join because I have been a IWA fan for a long time and have put thousands of miles on several cars going to IWA shows all over Illinois and Indiana [Ian can confirm this] for the last 10 years. I think if I'm going to join a group it should be one made up of hardcore, diehard fans like myself who are not only loyal, but so passionate about their wrestling that they will drive great distances and spend a lot of time out of their life devoted to supporting one wrestling company. That says everything about the quality of the product. Since I've devoted my career to putting on quality events and am a true IWA fan it only seemed the natural choice. I want everyone to know that I will not TRY to live up to the standards of the IWA, I WILL live up to the standards and make you proud to have us in the family. FYI: For those who are interested, my name is Frank Thurman and I have been in wrestling since 94 and have been promoting since 97. I was trained by a former IWA star from back in the day "The Human Wrecking Ball" Pete Madden in St. Louis at the South Broadway Athletic Club Gym in 94/95. The first PWA event took place April 30th, 2006 in Fairview Heights, IL. The first PWA Champion was crowned in The 12 man Ultimate Wrestling Challenge tournament. The Finals saw Matt Sydal pin Ace Steel to become the Champion. This will be the second ever PWA event. Once again, thank you for your support.

Special announcement: With the news of Dingo vowing to keep the spirit of IWA alive by continuing to defend the title, I have decided to make two very special offers.
First I would like to extend a invitation to Dingo to defend the IWA Title on my next event which is still being negotiated for Oct.24.
Second for any IWA fans who do not live in the Salem, IL. area and would like to help keep the spirit of The IWA alive.
Anyone who drives two hours or more to the Sept. 11th IWA-PWA event United We Stand can get their tickets for only $2 each.
To take advantage of this offer just send me a pm here or send a message through myspace and give me your name and tell me how many tickets you need and where your coming from and they will be waiting for you at the door.

Damn man, that's an awsome deal for longtime IWA fans, a good way to get a fan base and pretty smart buisness. I was shilling a little bit for PWA on a different board, and if the first event turns out good, I'll keep shilling it.
