Boodrow and Rare was a spot fest. If you want hybrid wrestling save it for someone like Neil Diamond Cutter or even Matt Tremont.

Why would you want technical wrestling at KOTDM? This is what TPI is for. Spidar and Rare are two of the best death match workers alive today on planet earth period. There is no need to get political about it and call them spotty. Death matches are spotty to begin with.

If you do that's cool, I respect your opinion. I was just stating mine.

I don't know about his recent stuff, but when I saw Spidar Boodrow in the 2006 KOTDM, he had a lot to be desired. he really hasn't improved one bit. He just watched some Thumbtack Jack DVDs and said "hey, I can land on really gross sharp shit too!" This John Rare fellow is a self professed huge TJ mark..

Let's focus on what wrestlers have done recently, not 5 years ago.
Obo, were you there when he was watching these TJ videos? Oh by the way, he retired over a year ago.

Personally, I really don't need to see anyone get stabbed with a box cutter again, but if it happens, then okay.

Box cutter was just one spot. At Carnage Cup, John Rare and Spidar had a really good match, was it spotty? Yes but it was also insane. This is a death match tourney and I think its important to find the craziest the most willing to do guys for his type of event. If you want to do death matches, go all out. Truth lot of workers in the business are too banged up to give the fans 100 percent, Rare and Spidar are willing to kill themselves for the fans so why not book them. Fans don't want to see same old death match spots, they want to to see something different.
And so what if John Rare patterns himself after TJ. TJ is an awesome performer, so I actually give Rare credit that he studied Jack and is influenced by him, I think its awesome, that makes me want to see John Rare even more, I don't see how its a bad thing?

How much does the success of 'new' iwa depend on this event's turnout?

From what I've heard, John Rare broke his leg at an IWA:DS show last week.

Let me ask you something Goth Thug; You display a razor blade board or cross in your sig and yet you don't like Rare's work, a guy who takes blades and kills himself, explain this to me, I don't get it.

That looks like the cross board that Jun Kasai has used, could be wrong though. The Japanese make everything seem great, plus Kasai does a lot of actual wrestling too

When a Japanese guy does it, its Ok its professional, its cool, when a young American wrestler does the same thing, its yardish and unnecessary, interesting point of view indeed.
