I thought about a steel chair w/ thumbtacks, but I'm trying to come up with something more original if I can. I'm probably going to do the classic Thumbtack Bat for 1 weapon.

I'm going to try and find my exit sign filled with about 1200 thumbtacks that I had for the last kotdm in Joliet maybe someone will finally use it.

I'd love to see a bucket of thumbtacks, with the bucket covered in tacks. the bigger bucket the better. if you can manage a five gallon bucket, do it.
One of the things I wanted to do sometime but never did.. thumbtack balloons. fill balloons with tacks, then blow them up a bit.
Get creative though. quantity. spend some time on stuff, glue thousands of tacks on something.. it'll look awesome.

Ever seen the 'Exploding Thumbtack Balloon' match from BJW? Those were almost beachball sized balloons.

I just realized, the first picture was actually made and taken by me, several years ago. I just now actually clicked the link. when I clicked it, I instantly recognized it, from my ghetto ring skirt of black duct tape.. I'm wondering a) how that picture survived so many years and b) how it ended up here.

the chair was wetted down with water, then the glitter poured on. so when it was used as a weapon by the figures, the glitter/tacks flew off and everywhere, since they weren't attached hardly at all. That's why there's trash bag down, so it would be somewhat easy clean up.

Ever seen the 'Exploding Thumbtack Balloon' match from BJW? Those were almost beachball sized balloons. I was legit thinking of doing this, think they'd hang it up and then like at 5 min shoot it with a blow dart or somthing? |

They would also need to hang protection around the balloons in that case (again, much like BJW did) so would probably be a lot of work.
Not as much work as my Raining Hell idea though, exploding glass panels above the ring with thumbtacks on them.

Thought the exploding balloons were actually beach balls, laced with some explosive.
