I'm on my way to Bellevue! Should take me about 4 hours. It's still a long drive, but not as bad as the 7+ it took from St. Paul!

Just made it back home, awesome show from top to bottom. Every wrestler gave it their all tonight as you should expect with almost each match main event quality! Definitely the best non-tournament show I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them!

It was an awesome show. I got home at about 3:00 AM, but was too tired to come write about it.
The opener was decent. I'd never heard of Smokey C before. He's a tall gangly guy... think Nate Webb, but taller. Grunge through a sit-out powerbomb that shook the building that C kicked out of, before delivering another standard powerbomb that finished him off.
7 Way Madness was pretty entertaining. It was supposed to be two guys in the ring at a time, but it rarely happened. They had the standard "let's all jump off the ropes on to a big pile of people" spot. I may be wrong, but I think the order of eliminations went Colon, Havoc, Dragon, Vortex, Bentley, Crane. NDC earned himself a title shot.
Chris Hall vs. DJ Hyde was what you'd expect... two big guys beating the crap out of each other, and that's pretty much what happened. It was short and hard hitting, and I was pretty surprised when the end came.
Crist/Callihan was great. Lots of back and forth action, and the end was a big surprise. Sami went for his leg-behind-the-head submission, and Crist caught him in a rollup for the win.
Barbed Wire Madness was.... madness. It started off slowly and built to an amazing superplex from Drake to Tremont onto a ladder table. Unfortunately for Drake, Tremont pretty much hulked up after that, the pace picked up, until Tremont hit Drake with a huge move and Drake did the same thing. The finish saw Drake getting the win after a double stomp with Tremont under a barbed wire board. Tremont was cut from ear to ear, and it was pretty nasty.
Bucky Collins vs. Simon Sezz was a very back and forth affair. I think it went at least 20 minutes, and while I can't remember the exact finish right now, it was a great title fight.
Devon Moore vs. B-Boy... HOLY SHIT! This was a hard hitting affair... the highlight of the entire night happened when Devon and B-Boy were tearing it up outside the ring, and the ref was insisting that they take it back to the ring. He was being really annoying about it, so B-Boy turned around and absolutely smashed him with a stiff forearm. The crowd exploded! Not sure if it was planned or not, but it was the moment of the night. The finish happened when Devon pretty much no-sold the B-Boy stampede and hopped up with a front kick for the pin.
Post match, Drake Younger came out and he and Devon settled their beef from KOTDM 2011.
BJ/JJ vs. Necro and Masada was pretty awesome. They were all over the building, and for me at least, there was a constant fear that when you were watching one battle, that the second battle was going to plow right over you from behind. The finish felt like it came rather suddenly, and was a combination power bomb/Jacobs top rope move (why can't I remember it right now?) for the win on Necro.
Post-match, Jimmy and BJ insulted each other for awhile, said other people fucked each other's girlfriends, etc... BJ said that once they get IWA built back up to where it should be, they'll settle their beef once and for all.
Attendance was about 40, but was a really loud crowd. All the wrestlers gave their all, as is always the case at an IWA show. Bellevue Plaza definitely isn't as bad of a place when it's not 145 degrees down there.
Thanks to Vince, Mike, and Kevin (who wasn't there, I don't think) for a great night!

Sounded like a real good show top to bottom. Sounds like it matched up with the standards of IWA past. That being said, it sucks Elgin no showed. While im sure Crist had a great match with him, i was really looking forward to Elgin and Sami.

Smokey Seas looked like someone who would be featured on "You are NOT Getting Booked!" Get some actual ring gear and look like a wrestler instead of a yarder. Simon Sezz got ring gear this time...which increases his credibility.
Bucky won with the 450 splash.

Awesome show and the crowd was surprisingly loud for the number in attendance. The card was stacked and full of action. Even my children didnt want to leave the action to go the bathroom. At 6 and 8...they know a good thing when its happening.A special thanks tyo all the wrestlers for putting on a good ole IWA-MS show and for the extra of coming out at intermission and mingling with the fans. These are the times the children remember. The "good " or "bad" guy that comes out and talks to them and lets the kids know how thankful they are that the kids are there and showing interest in them. AWESOME!!With those moments my son has picked out favorites and incidentally is looking for his first wrestling action figure.....Simon Sezz.HAHA. I love it. Also another thanks to Misty for trying on the dvds(maybe we'll get em.) and to the rest of the concession crew for your help. IWA IWA IWA!!!

Also another thanks to Misty for trying on the dvds(maybe we'll get em.) You definitely will. We will be on top of it! So, just to make sure, which tryout show is it that you wanted from 2010? I think there may have been more than one... can you remember maybe which month? And you also wanted Phoenix Rising, right? With Sabu on the card? Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks to you guys for coming. I genuinely enjoy seeing you and your kiddos come up to the merch table! See you December 2nd??

For those who haven't heard or even seen Smokey C before, wasn't he in a KOTDM years ago? I mean, he lost in the first round, but still.

Was that the year with the Toby Klein vs Necro Butcher match? I mean, the really good one? If not, it was certainly the same building.
