booking by numbers should be Whitmer vs Jacobs in the final, with Whitmer vs Masada on the semi and I'd prefer to have Jacobs vs Drake on the other but it can go either way.
should be great

It would be great to see Simon Sezz get to the finals. He has really stayed true to IWA and busted his ass in every outing, plus it would be a great platform for him to raise to the next level which I feel he is due. But unfortunately i keep thinking it might be a more recognizable name to help raise the company to new heights Hey new heights ,new face for the future!!

Bummer, but the low attendance does need to be looked into. Very understandable.

here are a few ideas to improve attendance:
- have an actual website (not just a message board) with news and information about upcoming events, company history, roster. seriously, the roster listing on the main page is from 2008. there is no information about anything current. new fans are going to take a look at a poorly administered, highly-dubious message board and not bother sifting through for current infos/news. a re-design would help.
- advertise. I don't know if this is something you do because I'm not in the area. put in ad in local weeklies, even. flyer outside other shows in the area. spam message boards that aren't this one. spam Facebook. get wrestlers to spam Facebook. make 200 photocopies of a show poster and just poster the shit out of the town in which you're running. this is a method that still works. submit notices about upcoming shows to newsletters/websites (a few thousand people read F4W/WON's daily updates alone).
- bring in local guys that know a lot of people/have a lot of friends, even if they don't fall into the "if you ain't hardcore, you ain't shit" category. it's okay if a couple wrestlers in opening matches suck, as long as they have lots of friends that would pay money to go. this sounds like a lame idea, but I live in an area that's a lot less populated than where IWA-MS runs, and the local indy here usually draws 200+ at the very least, with no big name talent (or even internet darlings), and a big part of the reason why is because they use a couple local guys that bring in at least 40 or 50 people to see them.
- get a YouTube channel, do podcasts, post an occasional match or highlight videos. get a Twitter account, Tweet about upcoming shows.
you can probably get people to do all of these things in exchance for free tickets or merch, other than advertising.
if you're doing these things already, I apologize. the way it comes across is you're posting a poster and accompanying thread on this message board and not doing much else.

i could probably get you guys in a good sized gym right off harlem and 290 ave. Central location, it's just the advertising and bellevue killing you guys.
No doubt in my mind, if you ran this same show in Joliet, you guys could get a hundred fans atleast. The people at the Joliet building still want IWA wrestling there, they miss it. I talked to a lady that worked the front desk there when IWA was just about to start up in addison in 2009 and she was saying they'd love to have IWA back in the hartman rec center.
Bellevue is just out of the way for the casual fans to drive to, where as joliet you'd have tons of casual fans, like when you first started running there in 2008.
The first 2 shows at Joliet were SOLID in crowd numbers, 500th show was a huge crowd and the next month was a good hundred of so.
Go closer to Chicago and rebuild!

I completely agree with this. I really liked the Joliet venue, but hate the Bellevue trip.

There's a ton of people in the Peoria area, I think the biggest problem (like most people stated) is actually getting their asses into the seats. The Peoria area has a huge Juggalo follow, maybe toss on a few JCW stars like Corp, Weedman, & 2TuffTony and advertise them on Juggalo sites and around town.
Ever think of bringing in a few local bands to play during intermission or before the show?

I may be biased, living near Peoria, but I think the Peoria area is a great, underutilized wrestling area. Personally, I would get out of Bellevue and move into Peoria proper. The Expo Gardens always drew a decent crowd for HWA and is directly in Peoria. I think that the combination of Bellevue being somewhat out of the way and the quality of the venue itself turns some people off.
Also, as heavythundar pointed out, I think more advertising is needed if even at a grass-roots level. Flyers, Facebook, more message boards, or (if budgeting allows) maybe a radio or local TV ad all help to get the word out and let people know there is an event happening.
Those are my two cents. I don't want to rag, but I love that IWA: MS is back and want to keep it that way.
