No Robert Anthony? Seeing Necro live again would have made up for it.
Too bad the show didn't run on Saturday, I would have made the drive. I won't always have Saturdays free which kinda sucks.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there was closer to 50-60 people there. Not sure where the 33 number came from.

It wasn't a BAD draw for a first show...the next show date was in the local paper which I hope helps some. Also, the Rotten/Grunge match had no build-up outside of my posts. I can't get over how well it tied everything together and now there's alot of different things that can happen...and now Phoenix is back...Grunge is bringing in Axl...and then there's the whole MS/MW conflict...Juggalos...Light Heavyweight Title situation...there's just more than meets the eye lying just beneath the surface...really looking forward to the 13th.

Now that Midwest is running Bellevue, are the owners of Midsouth thinking about running elsewhere? Maybe a return to Midlo is in the cards? Probably not, but a guy can dream, right?

yeah its like a guaranteed no. I doubt theyll ever get closer to chicago again, so it's 3 hour treks plus if you wanna see a show.
I actually drove by the midlo venue a few weeks ago and went inside to grab a drink. Still looks like the same old place, that gym brought back a lot of memories when i looked into it.

Hey - can we get some official word on what's up with this cross-promo thing? If it was just a one time shot, let's get back to Mid South (which is what this board is for) - if it's an ongoing thing, let us know. It feels like there is a lack of direction going on, and I want to know if we are sharing kool-aid, mixing kool-aid or if someone is f***ing with our kool-aid!

The IWA-MW vs. IWA-MS feud could be interesting. I was not at the show...but from what I read on this board, someone posted that Ian mentioned something about "family." I can see IWA-MW bringing in all the old veterans from IWA-MS....Necro, Ian, Corp, maybe even Pondo and/or Drake and Scotty Vortekz....to help them (IWA-MW) get their name out there. The "veterans" would take on the younger roster from IWA-MS. Perhaps IWA will put out a "bounty" on Ian and they can bring in workers to try to collect the bounty....bring in Bull Pain, Mickie Knuckles...people from Ian's past that have a score to settle. This could get very interesting....just wish they ran closer to Indianapolis.

Trouble is, as far as we all have been WELL told of, people like Mickie Knuckles and Bull Pain don't dislike Ian just in 'Kayfabe', so I can't honestly see them even wanting to work a show, sadly.

I agree a feud would be cool.. problem is, IWA-MS doesn't exactly have an established roster since the joliet days..
