Glad to see Danny Havoc win the tournament. He might win 4 out of the five big death match tournaments in Tournament of Death, Carnage Cup, Masters of Pain, and Double Death. But was very close to taking this years KOTDM. It truly has been a great year for Havoc so far.

any sense of when the DVD might be released? If it were SMV that filmed/edited it, it would be released later this week. I am anxiously waiting, so any insight would be great.

Smart Mark did not film it. I have no idea of a timeframe, but I have a feeling it could be a little while. I don't know the validity of this, but I was told that once released that SMV would have copies to sell (just not SMV-produced).

you'll never see me talk nice about Kevin Brennan, here or elsewhere. Most of what I say here is the abridged version, in fact, because in communities like this, I find it better to not completely trash people.
Frankly, Kevin Brennan is pretty much bottom of the barrol to me.. What training does he have as a wrestler, referee, or otherwise that QUALIFIES him as a wrestling promoter, much less gives him the right to publicly complain when his patheticly promoted shows with Nasty Critter Scrub and Spidar Boodrow don't draw? You explain to me exactly what Kevin Brennan, or IWA Deep South, has done to earn my respect, at least enough for me to turn a blind eye to that bitter, angry rant that I read late last year, where wrestling as a whole was thrown under the bus "because MMA is where it's at".
This year's Carnage Cup came off as nothing but a big money scam to me. He "got out" of the wrestling buisness, but came back to promote a death match tournament? I'm glad only 40 people showed up, but I guess even moldly bread can draw some cockroaches.

With this vitriol you come across as the same pathetic rants that you so vehemently oppose at CZWfans. What do you really know besides things you have heard second-hand or just focusing on a frustrated post that Kevin made? No one, including myself, enjoyed that post, but the man has apologized. What has Kevin done that is so terrible? Promoted shows for people's enjoyment and always paid the wrestlers that he has contracted? That doesn't sound so terrible to me.
The reason the Carnage Cup ran this year is because Kevin enjoys watching wrestling and worked out a deal that could possibly allow him continue to promote shows, something that he would not have been able to continue with the past deal (for better or worse). If you think that this year's Carnage Cup or any show Kevin has ever promoted has made him ANY money, then you are seriously misguided or delusional. He promoted shows that allowed me to see alot of wrestlers that I wouldn't of seen otherwise and I appreciate him for that.
Also, it's Kevin Brannen. Edit: I spoke in anger and only speak for myself.

"because MMA is where it's at". . Do you really believe that wrestling makes more money than MMA right now? If you do, you are dumber than you claim Kevin Brannen is. MMA blows wrestling out of the water money wise, any idiot knows that. I think you need to quit shitting on someone for trying to promote a show and criticizing them for not being a "trained wrestler" when you yourself is not a trained wrestler and probably never will be. At least he had the balls last year to take a ass whipping from Ian Rotten, why don't you take an ass whipping from Ian Rotten before you criticize someone for speaking the truth because he has a lot more guts than you'll ever have.

Do I call myself a wrestling booker? Do I try to hop in a ring and look important? No..

No, but you do consistently act like a hypocritical douchebag. Thanks for skipping over my earlier points. Those same shows with Spider Boodrow and Nasty Critter Scrub also had the debuts of Chuck Taylor and Ricochet before Mid-South, CZW, or Chikara along with lots of other talent through the assistance of Mike Burns' booking and Kevin's allowance for new talent. I don't know where you get this concept that you have to be trained to be a promoter. Kevin supplies money to put on a product for people to enjoy. He's never been a booker or claimed to be a booker. HE "hopped" in the ring because he was asked to as per a storyline, not because he wanted to look important.
Like I said before, stop being a fucking hateful troll, especially since you are so sensitive to such actions when coming from other sides.

I would assume to be a promoter you need to be "trained" in business management not in taking bumps... JMO.

Wow... I missed a heck of an exchange.
Anyway... are there any photos of this floating around at all? They say there are some on the MySpace, but there aren't any. Hearing about the atmosphere and the matches makes me wish even more that I would have gone, so I'd like to see a closer look of what I missed.
