While there are plenty of 6-man tag team tournaments across the independent wrestling scene, ElitePro, as they always do, have put an interesting twist on the rules for this tournament. In tribute to the former WWF 6-Man tag team known as Demolition - Ax, Smash & Crush - ElitePro officials have made the first two rounds of the tournament "Demolition Rules". What does this mean? Each 6-man team will choose two members of their team to wrestle in a normal tag team match (2-on-2). The winning team advances for all three members. The finals will be an elimination 6-man tag team match to crown the first ever ElitePro 6-Man Tag Team Champions. In each of the first two rounds, before the match starts there will be a coin flip. The winner of the coin flip will get the option to choose the two wrestlers that will compete in the tag match or force the other team to choose first, allowing them to counter the choices. In the first round, when a team is eliminated, the wrestler that did not compete in the match will be entered into a 4-way later in the night to earn a shot at the ElitePro Heavyweight Championship later that night. FIRST ROUND MATCHUPS ANNOUNCED: Team Captain: Vito Thomaselli vs. Team Captain: Helios Team Captain: Jay Jensen vs. Team Captain: Acid Team Captain: Sal Thomaselli vs. Team Captain: Mustafa Ali Team Captain: Marshe Rockett vs. Team Captain: Kimberly Kash Corporal Robinson has agreed to appear on Nov. 8 and will defend his ElitePro Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the 1st Round Loser 4-Way earlier in the night. The four members of the 1st round losing teams that did not wrestle will compete in a one-fall 4-way dance to determine the No. 1 contender.

Pro Wrestling Elite was a failed company formed by Rob Feinstein after he was ousted from ROH.
Elite Pro Wrestling, on the other hand, never eluded that Demolition would be appearing. Not sure where you got the impression that they would be. It was simply the inspiration for the concept of the tournament. I'm not sure where you think ElitePro would get the money to bring in Demolition, either.

not trying to crap on the name Ben, but when i think three man tag teams there is only one....The Freebirds! Of course people will think of The Freebirds. However, the people in charge at ElitePro grew up watching late 80s and early 90s WWF, and there was only ONE kickass three-man team...and they wore bitchin masks, facepaint and kicked pansy ass. It's just a matter of where and when you grew up watching wrestling. Plus, "Freebird Cup" just doesn't have the same ring.

to the non-smart wrestling fan which Elite Pro attracts ( parents with kids) think Demolition Cup is an average sounding name for a show. Nothing to do with Ax, Smash or Crush

I'm sorry, but if you are a parent and you don't know who demolition is, you have no business going to a wrestling show. Just my opinion.

The ElitePro Office made the difficult decision to postpone the Demolition Cup after a number of cancellations and schedule conflicts. They did not feel it was fair to the fans to put on a less-than-stellar tournament and decided to instead put on a "regular" show instead. Needless to say, the fans were still treated to what may very well have been the best ElitePro show of the year. A show entitled: "Off Script".
1) Jason Hades defeated Helios w/C-Red with a rollup in a match that saw both men exchange pinning combinations throughout the match. Both men shook hands after the closely contested bout.
2) Sal Thomaselli defeated ryan_project, Brett "With Two T's" Michaels and the unnamed newest member of Team Taliban when Sal hit ryan_project with the Horse Collar Driver. The match was originally scheduled to be a three-way dance, but The Message came out and introduced his newest protege, a near 300-pound masked monster.
3) JD Hughes w/Kimberly Kash defeated Willie Richardson w/C-Red with a Death Valley Driver after Richardson missed the top-rope leg drop.
Joey Eastman came out and announced that he had a "blockbuster announcement" concerning Joey Eastman World Wide in ElitePro, only to abruptly leave the ring before making the announcement. Eastman was clearly toying with the fans, but his motives were yet unclear.
4) Prince Mustafa Ali w/The Message defeated Brandon Thomaselli with a rollup to become the 3rd ElitePro World TV Champion. The end of the match saw The Message get involved, his interference seemingly backfire, only to see Ali roll up Brandon out of nowhere for the victory.
5) The Soul Touchaz (Acid Jaz & Marshe Rockett) w/C-Red defeated The Jensen Bros. ("The Real Deal" Jay & "Mean" Mark) and Team W.A.R. (Acid & Synn) when Jaz & Rockett hit a swanton bomb-frog splash combo on Mark Jensen. The match was originally supposed to be a rematch from last month, but Team W.A.R. interrupted and got the fans to put them in the match.
6) Martin Jones defeated "The New" John E. Kash w/Kimberly Kash & JD Hughes with a top rope splash in a battle of the two of the top members of the ElitePro Dojo.
7) Corporal Robinson defeated Vito Thomaselli 2-falls-to-1 to retain the ElitePro Heavyweight Title. Vito won the first fall when he got Corp to submit to his Another Thomaselli Tragedy submission. Corp won the second fall with a piledriver on a stack of chairs. The third fall saw Corp hit The Bootcamp off the second rope through a section of guardrails set up between two chairs.
After the match, Joey Eastman came out and announced that he had signed his first talent to J.E.W.W. and that person was Corporal Robinson. Corp took the mic and asked Eastman why he would join J.E.W.W. It wasn't titles, because he already had them. It wasn't bookings across the world, because he already had those. So he saw no reason to join J.E.W.W. Just when it appeared that Corp was going to lay out Joey Eastman, Vito Thomaselli attacked from behind and he and Eastman put the boots to Corp. Eastman and Thomaselli took the JCW World Title and the ElitePro Heavyweight Title and Eastman claimed he had an open contract for a new talent to take on Corp for the title in January when the 2009 season begins.
