The above few posts sound like a wrestling promo written by Vince Russo.

I'm not the one who's gonna drive to Children of the Corn to see a show??? LOL...Such an ignoramus. FYI-the population in the immediate Bellevue/Peoria/Pekin/Washington/Morton/Norwood/Dunlap/Marquette Heights/Peoria Heights area is around 250,000...hardly "Children of the Corn". All those towns-and others are all within a 20 mile radius. Thank you. Good day!

I went to Bellevue for KOTDM 2011, it was a great show, but let's face it the building looks like something out of a horror movie. I was honestly afraid to go to the bathroom there, it feels like Jason or Freddy would jump out in any minute. Right across the building you got this forest and I swear when it gets dark, it feels like some freeking zombie would walk out of this forest and attack you. So if you are making an argument that Bellevue is urban or even a part of some sort of metro area, you are mistaken son.

Maybe hold KOTDM in the forest? The way it's being described, sounds like fun!

I've said all along that Bellevue is terrible, particularly in the summer when it's 85 outside and 105 inside. I can only imagine how bad it is for the wrestlers.
I never went to the old House of Hardcore, but that place didn't exactly look like a palace though, so it's not like a grungy venue is out of the ordinary for IWA.

Whatever you say, Sox or Mikey or realdeal or Tom Green, I see this board has never changed.

Why don't they promote the show locally if it's got 250,000 people and stop fucking complaining about bad draws? I can care less what the venue looks like. There are nothing but ghettos, barns, Steak and Shake and McDonald's around there. Hardly the place I want to be if say, oh I dunno, there's a couple no shows on the card and I want to make up for it by going out somewhere else? I'm really tired of all the excuses made for the sake of a certain three letters put together. Evolve, and make it worthwhile for fans to come from anywhere.

People here seem annoyed by anything negative like opinions or pointing out of bad facts, when it comes to IWA. This is the 'drinking the Kool Aid' thing, right? Which I had to look up the derivation of that phrase, and I'm kind of surprised that it's seen as a good thing.

Please do not compare House of Hardcore with Bellevue. House of Hardcore was a golden era of IWA and yes even though that place was a shack, it was fucking magic.

Hey, localylocal! We have that Kings of the Crimson Mask show you wanted, I do believe. I looked for you at the last show, but sadly you were NOT in attendance. Hope to see you at the next one! Also, just an FYI for those complaining about the summer heat of the Bellevue building... May and June will be the last two shows in the Bellevue building until the fall. Plus this time we have a Saturday show... so many of you were complaining about the Friday shows, so I don't want any excuses! As always, hit up the merch table for an awesome IWA Midwest T-Shirt, DVD, or just say hi to my pretty face Hope to see you all there next weekend!

Is there any info at all about when/if IWA-MS will run again? The past few shows promoted on this board have been IWA-MW shows. Mike, Scar, and Vince never post on this board anymore. It looked like things were going towards an IWA-MS vs IWA-MW angle...but then that just fell off the face of the earth. Misty...can you shed some light on if/when IWA-MS will run again? Thanks for the info!

Try reading what I'm saying before you jump to conclusions. All I said was that IWA has been successful in the past despite having a nasty, hot, gross building. It was due to the amazing talent, great booking, and stacked cards. If they can manage to convince people that there is still potential for those things, then there's no reason they couldn't pack Bellevue.

The owners of IWA MS are now searching for their own building, somewhere in Southern Indiana. They'd like to stop travelling for shows. It's my understanding, and keep in mind I'm just the merch girl, but they don't really want to run shows north of Indianapolis. Hopefully they will find something soon!! As far as IWA MW being promoted on this board, it was a deal in the original agreement between the companies that shows could be promoted as much as they want on this board. That part of the deal expires after the June show. Also, for people complaining about the IWA MS site being down... the IWA MW site works just fine www.iwamidwest.com There just isn't a message board established yet.

This is just my speculation and I will probably get heat for this but I think that IWA Midwest is IWA Mid South. I mean same talent, same merch girl, same venue and Ian works every show.
