Post by I love Chicago poopy wrestling on May 15, 2012 7:48:57 GMT -5
Last time I checked the first amendment to the Constitution was still in effect, so I will say whatever the potty mouth I want. Deal with it. I have always been critical of the right things, I never shit on what some of the wussified Chicago fans call "garbage wrestling", I never told anyone who to book or not book, I never put myself over at shows to the point of tearing down homegrown talent, getting drunk and deliberately trying to get the company kicked out of the building. My best friend has supported the product for many years. I really don't give a shit about you tearing down rings or any of that political BS - you choose to do it, don't guilt us over your volunteerism and fucking believe me when I say, some of us have very busy and complicated lives and cannot help you. I just am not going to be told how wonderful the building / "metro" area / environment is and have to drink the Kool Aid and agree with you. It is no secret that rural Illinoisans are rude and mean to people from the Chicago area (I guess we steal their tax money or some stupid made up shit, forget the fact we bring in all the damn revenue to this state as well!) and that Peoria has a ghetto that you must drive through to get to the building. There is nothing fun or enriching to do in the area besides watching wrestling. And I will fucking reiterate this once more, you draw 20 or 30 people in a supposed population center of a quarter of a million people. HOW IS THIS MY FAULT? I'm one guy and at least I'm telling you the truth, not being a gutless pansy like some people at that ChiproWrestling board. I don't get what the problem is, I really don't.
If you want a bigger draw and less no shows, get the potty mouth out of Bellevue. Accept my criticism and let's all move on OK?

Opinions are protected-and your opinions are yours and you are entitled to them. Facts are facts-if you take 55 from Chicago to 74 and then hit 474 you never come near the ghetto...and from what you are saying is that any area not having a population of 3 million or so is rural? So there's how many metro areas in the country? So you don't like Central Illinois-makes us even cause I don't like being where there's police surveillance cameras on every corner like parts of the West Side. I'd accept the criticism if his FACTS were straight...lol

SOTBHF - why are you driving thru the ghetto of Peoria and not taking I-474 around the city instead? Also...
>It is no secret that rural Illinoisans are rude and mean to people from the Chicago area
Uhhhh...excuse me, you have that COMPLETELY BACKWARDS. I've been battling the ignorant of Chicago for years cause of some folks were automatically biased toward anyone downstate cause they didn't personally train them. And you don't wanna get me started a bunch of other things I have issue with about Chicago...

From what I have been told...remember this is heresay...Konga Kong came off the top rope on someone's head...the usual half dozen no-shows...main event ended up being Ian vs. Tremont in some sort of barbedwire match-which was probably a bloody mess...and a crowd of around 100...again this is heresay.

I don't remember the full results but here's what I can remember from last night... Adam Bueller beat Johnny Wisdom The hooligans beat Hollywood Dream Trevor Court & Konga Kong beat Sea Man, Chase Matthews, & In a handicap match. As a result of continually splashing his opponents after the match, Konga Kong has been suspended Jack Thriller beat Drake Younger Not sure who won the tag match between Joey Grunge & Bucky Collins vs Ian Rotten & Oliver Caine. Serenity came out with Ian/Oliver and Thunderkitty came out with Joey/Bucky. Matt Tremont came out and Brawled with Ian during the match, during that, serenity and Thunderkitty started brawling in the bleachers which lead to a huge pull apart. After the match, it was announces that the main event would be Ian and Tremomt in a no rope barbed wire match Ian Rotten beat Matt Tremont after throwing a fireball in his face IWA Midwest will return to Bellevue in what will be the last show in that building until September on June 16th with a HUGE show. 5 matches have been announced already, check out the post on the board for more info

To clarify, there were two people that no showed. Simon Sezz, and Ryan Pheonix. Not sure how that equals half a dozen.
By the way, it was still an awesome show and yes, Ian and Tremont did pretty much kill each other.

Also, just an addendum to Adams results, Drake beat Jack Thriller by decision reversal for disqualification as Jack refused to let go of the Figure Four on Drake after Drake passed out.

Let's say for Ryan Phoenix here...he made an honest mistake in that he was planning to do a double shot - IWAM and NMW...he came to Springfield first and realized he made a mistake when I asked him if he was hightailing it back to Bellevue after his ladder match down here. However, IWAM never announced a replacement match for the six-man that changed when Axl Rotten was injured and announced his retirement...I doubt it was gonna go to a five-man tag so it would had probably ended up being Collins & Grunge vs. Rotten & Cain anyway.

Like I said my stuff was hearsay...interesting to hear that Ian has fallen a bit in love with throwing fire-I know of a few others capable of throwing fire...and I'll leave it at that. Davey/Masada should be good because they both can work and Ian/Joey Texas Death in what will be roughly the same conditions as the Ian/Dingo Texas Death a few years back might become a mess...I can picture EVERYONE getting involved in that one-and not just MW personnel, and maybe not just IWA personnel either...and since it will be the final show til Sept in the Dungeon it would make a great springboard going into the Fall...as the great Gorilla Monsoon would say,"Only time will tell."
